Excellent question. A full-time senior level engineer will cost in excess of $150,000 including salary, benefits, etc. Depending on the amount of labor your company needs, you may not be able to keep them efficiently busy at all times, despite paying their salary month after month.

Once subscribed, you’ll be able to add as many requests as you’d like to your Queue. To specify which task you’d like completed next, move a request from the Queue to the Current Request column in Trello.

Usually, a few business days. If a task is too large to complete within a few days, Anvil Product will break the request down into multiple “sprints,” each of which will be completed within a few days.

Please note that some requests may have extended lead-times due to factors outside of our control. Physical prototypes, custom parts, backordered off-the-shelf components, etc. will have varying lead-times.

You will work directly with me, the founder of Anvil Product. I complete most requests personally, but in certain cases I will leverage a network of partners to deliver work more quickly and effectively.

We understand that you will not always have enough work to utilize an entire month of Anvil Product. Maybe you have one small project that will only take two weeks of work. This is where pausing becomes useful.

Your billing cycle is a 31 day period. If you sign up and use the service for 15 days, then elect to pause your subscription, your billing cycle will be paused and you'll have 16 days of service remaining. These 16 days can be used anytime in the future.

For CAD, we primarily use SolidWorks and Siemens NX. For CAM work HSMWorks and Fusion 360 are utilized. Keyshot is used for Renders, with Adobe products used for editing and presentations.

Everything is submitted via Trello. Trello is essentially a “To-Do” list, where tasks progress from beginning to end. They move from “Queue”, to “Current Task”, to “Accepted.”

On a Trello submission, you can write out your request in plain text, link to a Google doc or PDF, or shoot a brief Loom video to describe problems that don’t lend themselves to a text description.

This isn’t a problem at all! In fact, it’s often a part of design. We’ll continue to iterate on your work until you are 100% satisfied.

No problem. You can pause your subscription after your request is complete, and return when you have additional design needs.

All work produced by Anvil Product is high quality, and will be delivered on an appropriate timeline. For that reason no refunds will be issued.
